Google have new features, they name it “Google SearchWiki”. How this will affect SEO, or might be your Busby SEO Test Ranking?
See this picture below : I also make comment for my page on that search result

Using this feature I can swap IMfreakz position to No: 1 and push it back to No:2
. How I do this in a minute ? Easy. If you want to see your Busby SEO Test Page in the top positions, you just need to log on to your google account. Search for your keyword target, after you see your url promote it (using the up button), make a comment on that SERP. Take a screenshoot and tell the world you are the champion
. Easy huh ….. You don’t need to test your SEO page and Skill for being number 1 on Busby SEO Test in a minute.
Curious about this features, I read more on Google Official Blog Release News. Cedric Dupont, Product Manager, and Corin Anderson, Google Software Engineer said SearchWiki is a way for Google to customize search engine result page by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting. With just a single click user can move the results to the top or add a new site.
Do we have to scared about these changes ? Do these changes will affect the SEO industry ?
Bernie Borges ( findandconvert.com ) said :
This will force some SEO services firms to change their business model to deliver tangible value to their clients. I don’t expect this to be a major problem for most SEO firms except perhaps those whose background is very technical with limited marketing expertise. Are you ready for the evolution of SEO in 2009? It’s already started. So, the time to get ready is yesterday.
Still curious about the SERP, then I ask my friend about the change I made on the result page of Busby SEO Contest. Did he see the change ? He said NO, nothing happen with the result. I’m sure that the ranking change only effects my computer and only if a log on my google account. Is this mean in the future Google search will display different/custom results for every computer ?
I try too convince my self, and found this In Google Experimental article, Google clearly said this is just experimental search. “Note that this is an experimental feature and may be available for only a few weeks.”
What do you think about Google SearchWiki ?

I think there’s a possibility a site will be pushed out of the live results if they notice a lot of people removing it from their personal search. Why not? It seems ethical to me. Of course there are complications, may be it’s too much of a risk to implement this?
At the moment I think Google are playign around with the data to see if they can safely allow these votes to impact live search.
If they do allow us to influence live search ranking I think more weight will passed onto trusted Google account owners who have been registered for years and have a good Google footprint. Those who have just signed up will have little or no influence on the rankings in live search.
For years Google has been busting a gut for all of us, so isn’t it time we started to help them?
It may never happen.

People are just going to ruin Google if they use this too much. Surely if they push all their favourite sites to the top of the results page, then Google essentially becomes a bookmarking tool with search functionality, instead of a tool for people to discover new sites of interest?
